Mr. Sweeney, a retired fighter pilot, who lived all over the world (including all 50 states), became a pilot because he wanted to be a shield and protect other people. He had to work hard and study to overcome his difficulties in math and science. After he overcame his difficulties and passed all his tests, he was a pilot most of his life until he retired.

 

He was very good at sports, music, history and English. “You need to be good at sports because there are a lot of buttons in an airplane and you have to press them in specific patterns. Also, like in sports, you have to be very good at trajectories to be able to hit moving enemy fighter planes.”

 

But said he wasn’t good at math and science which are also required to fly a fighter plane. He worked really hard but still needed help from his friends and family to overcome his difficulty. He also had help from God and tutors. He finished and did well, as one of the 22 out of 80 that continued in their training. He liked his job and he fought enemy fighter planes and traveled a lot. He went to Kuwait, Albania, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Canada and every U.S. state. He wanted to be a shield and protect other people and he succeeded.

 

Mr. Sweeney, a retired fighter pilot, wanted to protect and be a fighter pilot. However, he wasn’t good at math and science. He responded by working hard with help from God and family. As a result he was able to protect others and do a job that he loved.
